Auto Wholesales in April 2023: YoY dispatches in green, chip shortage to continue in Q1

For the first month of FY 2023-24, while the retails were slow, wholesales were in green across the segments. PV segment marked a growth of 13%, registering sales of about 3.31 lakh units during the month, as against 2.93 lakh units in the corresponding month of last year. Two wheeler sales were also in green, except Hero MotoCorp. Going forward, the chip shortage is expected to continue during Q1 and there are some red flags like inflation and impact of the rural sentiment. Read more at: economictimes
