MoRTH seeks stakeholder input on mandatory air-conditioning in truck cabins

The Indian government has issued a draft notification that mandates the installation of air-conditioning systems in the cabins of motor vehicles belonging to categories N2 and N3, manufactured from January 1, 2025, onwards. The move aims to improve the working conditions of truck drivers in India by providing comfortable working conditions and addressing the problem of driver fatigue. Read more at: economictimes
