One of every four vehicle sold in India to be an electric car: BMW

BMW plans to increase the sales of electric vehicles (EVs) in India, aiming for one out of every four vehicles sold to be electric within the next two years. Currently, EVs make up 10% of the company's sales in India, a figure expected to rise to 15% in 2024 and 25% by 2025. BMW is the dominant player in the luxury EV market in India, with a share of over 48%. The company intends to launch more EVs in the country to further consolidate its position.
