Opinion: How checking air quality is vital to health, environment and economy

Every morning these days before I set out for work or otherwise, I check the AQI in Delhi-NCR and it is often in the 400+ levels – an alarming sign that is often overlooked. Why? Because much like the smog that engulfs these cities, it becomes a part of our everyday life and we may not be aware of how it affects our families, pets, people who live, work, and travel within these locations.
