651 out of over 900 examinees pass PRC chem engineering licensure exam


MANILA, Philippines — 651 out of 927 examinees passed the October 2023 Licensure Exam for Professional Chemical Engineers, Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC) announced on Friday. University of the Philippines – Diliman took the first place in the top performing schools with a perfect 100 percent passing rate. All of its 62 examinees passed the exam. University of the Philippines – Los Baños ranked second and University of San Carlos took the third place. Robby Ching of De La Salle University – Manila is the topnotcher of the batch with a 90 percent passing rate. Jude Montallana from University of the Philippines – Diliman is second with an 87.9 percent rating. Cary Chan from De La Salle University – Manila is third with 87.7 percent rating. The exams were held from October 14 to 16. PRC said the date and venue for the oath-taking ceremony of the passers will be announced at a later date.
