7.1-magnitude earthquake rattles Sarangani in Davao Occidental
MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 7.1 earthquake hit waters off Sarangani Island in Davao Occidental early morning on Tuesday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported. In its initial bulletin issued at 4:57 a.m., Phivolcs said the epicenter of the quake that struck at 4:48 a.m. was traced 119 kilometers southeast of Sarangani
