ACMA Convention 2023: Amitabh Kant pushes for local production of battery, green hydrogen
Kant said there is a massive opportunity for India to become the champion of electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing. Two-wheelers, three-wheelers and four-wheelers will all be battery driven and we need to create a battery manufacturing environment in India. According to him, the long distance transportation of trucks and buses will have a huge component of green hydrogen in the long term and India can be the best entrepreneur in the world to produce green hydrogen.
