BFAR: Red tide in shellfish detected in Visayas and Mindanao coasts


MANILA, Philippines — The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) warned on Friday that some coasts in Visayas and Mindanao were found to be positive with toxic red tide. The agency cautioned against eating shellfish sourced from the following coastal waters: Capiz – Sapian Bay, Roxas City, President Roxas, Panay, Pilar Iloilo – Gigantes
