BuCor suspends strip, body cavity search for visitors of inmates
MANILA CITY, Philippines— The Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) has suspended the strip and cavity search policy on visitors of inmates or persons deprived of liberty. BuCor Director General Gregorio Catapang Jr. issued the order Friday to give way for an investigation following complaints filed by wives of political prisoners.
