Citroen bets on fleet segment to get initial charge for new EV drive with e-C3
The Stellantis-owned French brand will launch its maiden electric vehicle (EV) model, e-C3 next month. The EV will be followed by another ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) model sharing the same platform later this year. Since gaining any significant share in the traditional ICE vehicle market is tougher than in the emerging EV industry, Citroen India is strategizing to do what is relatively less challenging. And in this strategy, Citroen India looks to woo the fleet segment as the volume driver, at least in the initial phase.
