College student arrested for evading, hitting officer at Cavite checkpoint
MANILA, Philippines — A 19-year-old college student was arrested on Friday for evading and crashing into a police officer at a checkpoint in Cavite, the Bacoor City Police Station (CPS) said. According to authorities, the student, who was given the alias “Jericho,” was observed driving a motorcycle with two others who were not wearing helmets
