DICT: Disregard scam texts about No Contact Apprehension Policy


MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) on Saturday reiterated its warning against scam messages claiming that the receiver had violated the No Contact Apprehension Policy (NCAP). The said messages aim to trick users into paying for their supposed violation through a website pretending to be the Land Transportation Office’s portal.
