DOH: Fewer dengue-related deaths in 2024 despite rise in cases
MANILA, Philippines — Fewer dengue-related deaths were recorded this year compared to last year despite the rise in cases, the Department of Health (DOH) said on Tuesday. The DOH said there were 364 dengue-related deaths nationwide from Jan. 1 to Aug. 3, lower than the 401 deaths during the same period last year. READ: Leptospirosis
