DOH says not a single mpox case logged since January 2024
MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Health (DOH) said they have not recorded any new cases of the mpox (formerly known as monkeypox) since January this year. “No additional reported [mpox cases] since the last report,” DOH spokesperson Albert Domingo told reporters on Monday, denying reports that an mpox-related death was logged in Central Visayas.
