Earthquakes jolt Surigao del Sur, Eastern Samar early Friday morning
MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 4.9 earthquake struck Surigao del Sur early Friday morning. Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said the tremor struck at 1:06 a.m. Its epicenter was plotted east of Cagwait, Surigao del Sur, with Intensity Two also felt in Cagwait town.
