Entry level SUV sales to double with Exter launch, says Hyundai India


To fill the white space in its portfolio and to compete with the rival Tata Motors' Punch, Hyundai has launched the new Exter in the Indian market. The South Korean automaker feels that with the new model, it has become a full-range SUV maker in the country. Within a year, it expects the entry level SUV segment to grow to about 20,000 unit per month. The segment currently clocks an average of 10,000 units per month.
