ETAutoEVC: EV maker VinFast to enter India ‘shortly’, plans to bring scooters, buses along with SUVs
Beginning operations in Vietnam in 2017, VinFast is in the process of vehicle testing and establishing its plant location in India. The EV maker has set up its corporate office in Gurugram and is expected to make a foray into the Indian market by next year. While it will bring electric SUVs in the country, VinFast also plans to enter the bus and scooter segments to cater to a broader customer base.
