Govt to recover wrongly claimed sops by EV makers
The Ministry of Heavy Industries (MHI) has begun the process to ascertain the quantum of subsidy used by manufacturers without adhering to the specified degree of localisation committed for availing monetary benefits from the scheme called Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of (Hybrid and) Electric Vehicles in India, or FAME India.
