Lightning strike kills farmer in Quezon
LUCENA CITY — A 59-year-old farmer died Monday after lightning allegedly struck him in Gumaca town in Quezon province, police said. The Quezon police said in a report on Tuesday, July 9, that “Fernando,” a barangay tanod (village watchman), was found dead at around 3:30 p.m. on a farm in Barangay Casasahan.
