MANILA, Philippines — Severe Tropical Storm Nika (international name: Toraji) prompted class suspensions in various parts of the country on Tuesday, November 12. Based on the state weather bureau’s 5 a.m. bulletin, Nika was last spotted 185 kilometers (km) west of Laoag City, Ilocos Norte, packing maximum sustained winds of 95 kilometers per hour (kph)
