MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 4.3 earthquake struck Ilocos Norte and Ilocos Sur on Thursday night. The advisory of Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said the epicenter of the tectonic earthquake was west of Laoag city, Ilocos Norte. While Phivolcs did not expect aftershocks, it said the tremor could cause damage to structures.
