Magnitude 4.9 earthquake jolts Batangas
MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 4.9 earthquake rocked Batangas on Saturday afternoon, according to the state seismology bureau. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said that the epicenter of the tectonic earthquake was located west of Tingloy, Batangas. It had a depth of focus of two kilometers.
