Magnitude 5.3 earthquake jolts Cagayan island


MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 5.3 earthquake struck off Dalupiri Island, Cagayan on Tuesday afternoon, state seismologists said. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) earthquake was recorded 26 kilometers northeast of the Dalupiri Island  at around 4:03 p.m. with a depth of 16 kilometers.
