Mahindra looks to strengthen its position in sub-2 tonne SCVs with dual-fuel options
The automaker has launched the Supro CNG Duo and is very optimistic about CNG as a fuel in the sub-2 tonne segment. Currently, it grabs a share of 21% in the category and plans to further strengthen its position with the new launch. With this, it is also targeting to double the production capacity in FY24. "We believe that over the next few years, the CNG market will grow owing to reduction in fuel prices and the government's push on CNG infrastructure across the country," Mahindra said.
