Pagasa lifts Signal No. 2 as Typhoon Aghon goes toward Philippine Sea


MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) lifted tropical cyclone wind signal (TCWS) No. 2 as Typhoon Aghon (international name: Ewiniar) continued to move away from the country on Monday afternoon. Pagasa, however, maintained TCWS No. 1 over six areas, namely, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Isabela, Aurora, Quezon, and Camarines Norte.
