Pimentel backs suspension of excise tax on fuel
MANILA, Philippines – Senate Minority Leader Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel III said he supports proposals on the suspension of excise tax on fuel. “Nakakalunod na ang presyo ng krudo. Kailangan ng ‘lifeboat’ ng ating mga kababayan,” Pimentel said in a statement. (The price of fuel has a drownnoing effect on the people. Our countrymen need a lifeboat.)
