PNP chief orders probe on those behind fake destabilization plot posts
MANILA, Philippines — Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Benjamin Acorda has ordered the Anti-Cybercrime Group to search for those peddling misinformation online about a plot to destabilize the government. In the Bagong Pilipinas Ngayon public briefing, PNP Spokesperson PCol. Jean Fajardo denied rumors of a destabilization plot, adding that the PNP is monitoring misinformation online.
