PNP to offer free rides for commuters affected by transport strike


MANILA, Philippines — The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) will dispatch 205 cars, trucks, and buses to provide “libreng sakay” or free rides to commuters affected by the upcoming transport strikes starting Monday, April 15. The NCRPO also disclosed that it will dispatch 6,638 police personnel to ensure public safety during protests. READ: PUP
