Renault India rural sales share jumps to 38% in 3 years, targets good urban-rural mix


During the fiscal year to March 2023, the French carmaker sold about 79,000 units in the country. Of this, about 30,000 units were sold in rural areas and about 49,000 units in the urban areas. This is an increase from FY20 when only 6,000 units were sold in rural areas while the urban sales were at 83,000 units.
