SMEV seeks special fund to bail out EV OEMS hit by subsidy collapse
The industry body in its letter to the Union Finance Ministry has proposed the creation of INR 3000-crore Rehabilitation Fund to support OEMs suffering business losses on account of the withholding of FAME subsidies for over 18 months and stalling of operations, sales and bookings.
